Tune Hotel KL Review

Booked Tune Hotel without reading reviews, so you can say that I wasn’t swayed by opinions of others.

Tune Hotel Downtown Kuala Lumpur is conveniently located in the heart of the city. Easily spotted, I like that it sits right at the traffic junction. Just across the road is Medan Tuanku Monorail Station – a bonus. This train takes you to KL Sentral (main transportation hub), Bukit Bintang, Pavillion Shopping Complex, etc. Seriously, it’s such a convenient place. Two most important services to have when you’re travelling are in Tune Hotel too – ATM and 7-Eleven! Perfect!

Tune Hotel offers basic needs, it is a cross between a backpackers hostel and a hotel. They adopt the ‘pay as you use’ practice. For example, you only pay for the amount of aircon you use (I’m all for saving the environment). For more details, you can check out their website. The white papers on the counter below are all the information.

Though there were only two staff, they were efficient. Of course, we had to wait as there are other people, but when they attended to us, the process was smooth.

5 Tune Hotel

The moment I stepped into the room, I looked for the remote control. There wasn’t any. No television! Oh no! My friend and I stared at each other in disbelief and we just laughed! We really did not read reviews or find out more about this new cool hotel.

Well… At least they have these…

7 Tune Hotel

I like that the hotel thrives on minimalism. The bed is super comfy, it really does feel like a 5-star bed! The space around the room is just right, the bathroom is in the room, with heater working perfectly. 24-hour security and reception staff are awesome too! I don’t like that there’s no TV, that’s all.

I’ll give it 9 stars.
