These lichens transported me back in time, when I was a little naughty girl. Upon the discovery of wet tissues and their ability to stick onto walls, I was experimenting like crazy. I dipped rolls of tissue papers into a pail of water, squeezed the excess water and threw the tissue balls downstairs from the fourth floor! I remember going to school the next day, shocked at my work of art…a HILL of tissue papers! God forgive my sins.
Pretty and colourful lichens! The biggest one is about an inch in diameter.
Love the vibrant lime-green!
I love this shot because there are a lot of things going on. Everything is squeezed in a frame – lichens, baby fern, and roots.
Beautiful photographs and a very funny story, you naughty thing!
