India in a Nutshell

“Where in the world are you?”

Back in Singapore. After 13 days in India (supposedly 15 but my friend got too sick), I’m back. Though I arrived in Singapore on December 3rd, I’ve exams on the 7th and 9th. Also, a report to complete. December 15th is a feasible date for me to submit the report, (a week to put things together after the exams) but no, the Unit Coordinator did not approve my request for an extension (actual dateline: November 29th). It’s a deduction of 10% for each day the assignment is late. Yes, I will get a zero for this component (it’s just 20%, so I won’t fail the entire module, fingers crossed) but I still need to submit it. That explains the weeks of silence (it’s December 31st now as I’m typing). My apologies for the bloglog!

I’ve been recuperating from the trip. Nope, it’s not all bad, it’s…challenging and exhausting, but will I do it all over again? Yes!

For now, this is a summary of the trip.

November 19-21: Delhi

Jaipur in a nutshell. The plan was to stay for only 2 days but some jerks told us there's a flu outbreak, we cancelled our trip to Jaisalmer and Jodhpur! However, I'm glad we stayed, we got to visit a lot of places!

November 28: In train!

That little boy is funny, he wriggles and sings and tries to talk to me. Sometimes it's tiring to keep repeating "I understand only BASIC Hindi". He made the train ride interesting.

November 29-30: Mumbai (Maharashtra)

Mumbai was equally challenging and interesting. Tell you more in a bit.

December 1-2: Colva (Goa)

Beautiful place, wish we had more time to explore the area!

December 3-5: Kerala (Didn’t happen)

This isn’t one of my new year resolutions, but I’ll tell you about my India trip in January, if not December!
